Whatever the case it is always fascinating to take a look at the history of other people’s houses so in this section we introduce you to a few.
Here you will find houses belonging to some famous people, houses that have had an interesting history and are now house museums and houses that we have researched.
We have chosen to share these because on the whole they are places that ordinary everyday people have lived out their lives – we have left the stately homes to other publications. Choose from the list below and hopefully these will give you some inspiration.
